Senior Customer Support Engineer

Our client is a leading provider of mobile data infrastructure solutions to mobile operators globally.  Their products are powering the networks in over 40 leading mobile operators.  Due to the continuous growth, we are seeking a highly-motivated and customer-oriented professional to join the Customer Support Group as a Senior Customer Support Engineer.

 

Senior Customer Support Engineer

 

As part of the Customer Support Organization and reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you will be responsible for:

 

Job Description:

 Implement and maintain the content filtering system in the T-Mobile United States network.Deploy current and future products at customer sites.Provide on-site and remote support of customer issues and assist the launch of new products and services.Implement software changes remotely and at customer locations.Provide product training programs for customers.Provide technical assistance to field sales activities.

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.At least two years of relevant experience in wireless telecommunications.Knowledgeable of UNIX/LINUX System administration.Knowledgeable of TCP/IP networking.Familiar with mobile network technologies and knowledgeable of customer support processes and tools.Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills as well as good organizational skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Effective interpersonal abilities in handling customer requests.Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 30 to 40% as well as abroad on occasion, some on-call service is required on a periodic basis.
