RealNetworks, INC.Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Director, Global Product Management - Music Services ( Seattle Base)FLSA Status: ExemptSummary: Music Product & Service Management and Product Roadmap & P&L management globally..Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Manage Global Product managers in terms of music product components such as Platform, PC and mobile Client across region.• Responsible for developing and managing Music product roadmap and product life cycle. • Develop music product strategy including Go To Market strategy by working closely with Geo • Full P&L responsibility for Global Music Product Development and delivery of Service to the market • Work closely with Program Manager for Product development & Deployment • Develops and manages strategic partnerships to facilitate the delivery of music services to the market place. • Provides oversight for currently deployed services globally e.g., Verizon VCast, Helio Music, Rogers Music store, Pan Asian Music Platform and Vodafone Music etc. • Gather and analyze market requirements and customer requirements and translating those requirements into MRD/PRD and go to market strategies. • Consolidate new features and road map requirements from multiple Music customer instances into a single development roadmap making sure features can be reused across customer base. • Justify the investment and let budget approved to get formalized POR (Product of Record), costs and resources to deliver product and solution.• Bridge disconnects between product marketing, development and the budget process to drive planning initiatives through completion for product management. Drive development implementation and adherence to product roadmap.• Initiate and oversee the coordination of products throughout their lifecycle, from strategic definition to end-of-life planning. Develop product strategy for services. Translates business unit/customer/clients needs into new features and new services.• Integrates acquisitions and coordinates with other music product groups as required.• Thought leader to provide advice other new music related team in terms of product and operation • Directly Reports to AVP of Music, Product Management, ASP Services.Education/Experience:Requires a Bachelors degree, and at least at least 8 years mobile/wireless related industry experiences.Product Management experience with at least more than 5 years Prefer Business Operation and Management experience with at least more than 5 year experience Contract management & partnership with at least more than 5 year experience Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Also included is performance management, and compensation administration.Computer Skills: Successful use of Microsoft Office Applications, including Project, through the intermediate level.Essential Physical Functions: Ability to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.Note: Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
