That's why we're here. Responsible for System(s) and Applications engineering to support T-Mobile's MTSO and Data Center locations. Provide analysis of new systems, products, features and services necessary to operate our facilities. Support validation of these new services/platforms to ensure successful application in T-Mobile's facilities. Engineer 3, Facility Technologies is a key technical subject matter expert required to do in depth analysis (both fiscal and technical) and design of new features and technologies as well as mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities: Technology Management: Work between Standards & Special Interest groups, Vendors and T-Mobile internal customers to ensure Hardware, Services, Applications and Formal Standards are available and applicable. Technology Validation: Develop and execute validation plans for new technologies and services. Provide detailed reports on facility impacts. Network Standards: Create network guidelines for technology application and operation. Systems Design: Create network designs to achieve optimum fit and integration. Provide network design documents as required for new system(s) and feature(s) deployment. Feasibility Analysis: Support internal analysis by documenting options and impacts via research and definition of technical requirements. SME Operational support: Support the Performance Management, Capacity Planning, troubleshooting and Operational teams needs relative to Facility Systems. Requirements: Advanced understanding of primary power supply and distribution, backup power (UPS and Generator), HVAC, building monitoring and security. Experience with technical writing and formal presentations Understanding of applicable industry standards. E.g. ANSI, BISCI, ASHRE, LEED, etc and demonstrated capability in applying standards to daily work. Experience working with professional engineering vendors (Architects, Mechanical and Electrical)Effiectively work cross functionally to define requirements.
