Senior / Lead Telecom Technician

 

Interstate Communications Inc. (ICI) has been installing and servicing Toshiba Telephone Systems for our clients in the metropolitan Chicago area since 1980. As an Authorized Distributor of Toshiba Telephone Systems we offer our clients the finest equipment supported by the world-class service of Interstate Communications Inc. Our focus is on small to medium sized companies in the Chicagoland area.

 

Our expertise includes PBX systems, Key Telephone Systems, Call Centers, Voice Processing, Unified Messaging, Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), Voice over IP (VoIP) LAN / WAN support, WiFi, VPN, Firewalls and more.

 

We are looking for an experienced PBX Technician with the ability to learn quickly and work independently. Any Toshiba certifications are beneficial as well as CTP or A+ certification.

Strong knowledge of networking and VoIP is valuable.

 

Your primary duties and responsibilities can include:The installation of Voice Mail, PBX’s, Telephone Systems, etc.Provide service to existing Toshiba Telephone System customers.Help with all aspects of pre and post installation.

Candidate Requirements:Minimum of five years experience in the telecom industry.Above average customer service & communications skills.Comfortable with typical PC applications.Valid drivers license with responsible driving record.Attention-to-detail and task-ownership necessary.
