Senior Manager, Business Development

Rhythm NewMedia, a growing start-up in mobile advertising based in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Business Development professional to work either out of New York City or Mountain View, CA. This person will work on forging business alliances with media companies in the US.

Experience/Qualifications

Must have:
- Business development experience in any of mobile, advertising, consumer internet, or digital media.
- Strong media company background
- 3-6 years business development experience
- Experience presenting at an executive-level
- Strong academic track record

Preferred:
- Start-up experience

- References at all previous positions held should be at the “super star” level, on the following scale: super star, excellent, good, above average, average
- High energy, able and willing to work long hours, and travel as needed; is ready for the demands of a high energy start up
- Outstanding written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional analytical and negotiating skills
- Highly self driven & motivated. Lots of initiative and drive.
- Reliable – delivers results as planned
- Is oriented towards building a high value company patiently - not looking for a quick flip
- Good at team work
- Adds positive energy to the company through his/her sunny personality
- Good chemistry with current team and investors
