Job Objective:


The Financial Planning & Analysis function helps company leadership teams analyze and forecast operations and financials to provide a basis for strategic decisions and improve operating performance. The Senior Manager – Finance’s responsibilities will include managing the corporate budget and forecast process, recurring reporting and analysis of operating performance as compared to budget and forecast, ad hoc financial and operational analysis and managing the company’s treasury process.

Responsibilities:

 

·        Develop rolling quarterly operational/financial forecasts, updated with monthly actual results

·        Analysis and reporting to support decision making process for senior management

·        Consolidate and evaluate long term financial models based upon company performance and competitive analysis

·        Provide business modeling support to all functional areas including support of corporate development activities

·        Respond to ad hoc requests from all levels of management

·        Design and implement recurring reporting process around operating results, including periodic review process to assess business results and related operating performance.

·        Manage company treasury process including compliance with approved investment policy and interface with institutional money managers.

 

Experience Guidelines:

 

·        Experience including analysis and reporting of operating results and modeling and assessment of complex business proposals

·        Executive presence necessary to work with senior level management

·        The communication skills to clearly and accurately convey complex metrics and analysis to internal and client facing teams at all management levels.

·        Ability to understand and infer relationships between metrics and the operational and financial processes

·        Advanced excel skills (financial - operational model building, design and creation of robust interactive reporting and analysis tools)

·        Committed, detail oriented, self starter with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills

·        Project management – be able to organize, lead and deliver on initiatives


Qualifications:

 

·        7+ years of FP&A experience in a progressive, high growth environment

·        An understanding of financial and operational metrics in the telecommunications industry

·        Experience in improving financial literacy across an organization

 

Education:

         

·        BA/BS degree in accounting or finance

·        MBA/CPA preferred
