Senior Manager Network Cost

The Senior Manager of Network Cost is responsible for managing an operational and analytical staff in the analysis, reconciliation, financial recording and consolidation of all N.A. telecom cost of goods sold. The Sr. Manager is also responsible for inventory accounting and the wholesale invoice verification process (including claim re-capture).

Successful candidates will:

Manage, conceptualize, develop, test and implement processes necessary to capture telecom cost of goods sold across multiple business units and product lines on a monthly basis.

Manage the adherence to various wholesale telecom contracts through a robust wholesale invoice verification process and associated dispute resolution paths.

Manage, lead and coordinate quarterly and annual external audits as they relate to N.A. cost.

Record all related expense transactions including Monthly Recurring Costs, Non Recurring Cost and Usage into the General Ledger system. Effectively manage multiple product lines and multiple vendor relationships.

Develop, recommend and implement complex financial spreadsheets and models to automate financial calculations and results and facilitate analysis and interpretation.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Accounting, Business or Finance.

At least 5+ years of direct Network Costing experience

At least 5+ years of experience within the telecommunications industry solid understanding of components of carrier costs.

At least 3+ years of product line gross margin analysis models

At least 5 years of Financial System experience (Peoplesoft, SAP, etc..) includes journal entries, uploads, drilldowns and GL reconciliation tools.

At least 5 years management experience (5+ subordinates)

Advanced spreadsheet (MS Excel) and MS Access skills
