Senior Manager, Product- Marketing-Retail Concept Sr. Marketing Manager Product - Retail Concept Stores This position will be a member of the newly created Concept Development Team that will work on the Concept Stores and next evolution projects. The Concept Development team will have access and visibility to high level leadership and will work with cross functional teams from across many disciplines in the organization to develop concepts that will be handed off to the business for roll out/deployment. Comfort with ambiguity, risk taking and change are a must. The Sr. Manager Marketing will report to the Director of Retail Segment Marketing. T-Mobile's Sr. Manager Marketing is an exciting and new position that will work both independently and with senior leaders within the Retail Channel, Procurement, Corporate Marketing, Promotions, and across the company. This position is responsible for managing the product marketing for our new concept stores developing, leading and executing the product assortment strategy and business plan for our concept stores. Its success is measured by how pervasively its work shapes the customer experience, drives sales, and increases profitability. Responsibilities: Provide analyses, identification and strategy regarding new product and service Direct interactive and live device display and production management, as well as ad interactive content development and management. Work with Corporate Marketing groups to create and implement Retail Marketing programs, from start to finish. Responsible for driving product growth and ensuring revenues are met. Oversee execution and production of a wide range of marketing activities and materials, including collateral, signage, and electronic media. Create marketing communications materials including Retail collateral and presentations. In partnership with our Corporate marketing group, work to establish objectives, execute programs, measure results and improve community outreach, leadership perception and market recognition. Work collaboratively with a broad range of participants in the creative process. Education/Certifications: Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred. Leadership program attendance a plus. Professional Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in business marketing, consumer product marketing, and channel marketing in a leadership role. Experience with in-store Retail visual marketing techniques and experience working with business partners to develop large marketing campaigns required. Must have extensive experience in product and assortment building and an understanding of the business bottoms-up and tops-down, including product development experience. Experience and success in building a Merchandise program and exposure to rebranding efforts. Highly organized and ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities. Successful development of merchandise budgets, strong analytical and financial skills. Experience working with Asian sourcing organizations and manufacturers is critical. Strong taste level and the ability to interpret current trends, evolving technologies, and develop compelling product. Experience working with and leading cross functional teams in merchandise planning and allocation/replenishment, visual, marketing, advertising, and promotions. Motivation to meet or exceed plan. Proven negotiation skills. Financial analysis capability. Ability to manage a large team and drive results through others. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
