We are looking for an experienced security professional to facilitate the design, architecture and management of eTelecare’s security infrastructure. This individual will plan, design, coordinate and implement technologies and services in a global Call Center environment, supported by multiple data centers. The position will also be directly involved with the continuing evolution of our security practice along with being and integral part of the data and security network team.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities The primary functions of a Senior Network Engineer include:   Developing detailed designs and supporting documentation Assist with developing procedures in alignment with the global information security policies and processes. Provide a point of escalation and 4th level support of security devices. Work closely with clients, vendors, and other systems professionals in order to identify security problems and develop innovative and cost-effective solutions. Evaluating security technologies (internal and external) and make appropriate recommendations. Understand traffic flows and data routing through secure environments.  Required Skills and Abilities:Exceptional understanding of the security architecture infrastructure, processes, concepts and best practices A good understanding across IT disciplines and other architectural domains Strong strategic planning capabilities Experience with LAN/WAN internetworking technology, Application Protocols and the seven layer OSI model. Working knowledge of security solutions such as Network access control, endpoint enforcement products, Remote Access, proxy servers, Firewalls, IDS/IPS/DMZ, encryption solutions, vulnerability assessment tools, authentication using Active Directory, etc. Proven knowledge of VOIP, LLQ, WRED other QoS techniques. Knowledge of regulatory best practices and requirements such as Sox, PCI, HIPAA, ITIL, and ISO 17799  Qualifications  Education and/or Experience:  Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or electrical engineering or a degree relating to computer and electronic communication. +5 years of relevant industry experience CCIE (Routing & Switching or Security) Security Qualifications a plus (CISSP, SCNA, SCNP) Voice Qualifications a plus (CCVP etc)  Other Skills and Abilities:Excellent computer skills (Windows, Visio and Unix), Ability to prioritize tasks with attention to detail, organization and good customer service skills. Sound knowledge of Telecommunications and Call Center environments would be beneficial.
