Requirements:

This position coordinates and implements marketing strategy for products/services within our portfolio. Full life-cycle management responsibilities. Product lines may represent existing or new and emerging products, technologies or applications. Responsible for product line profitability. Defines market, including competitive analysis and definition of product functionality. Develops short and long term marketing plans. Conducts marketing forecasting activities. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity and market share, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies. Interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Requires a working knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures and excellent communication. This position is considered the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for VoIP Calling is responsible defining the direction for a key element of AT&T new entry in the Unified Communication market. Reporting to the Product Marketing Director for Core UC Offering, this person will have responsibility for both the client and server elements of AT&T UC VoIP calling capabilities. Responsibilities will include:

Â? Developing market requirements
Â? Conducting competitive assessments
Â? Creating market positioning and customer value propositions
Â? Designing customer offer recommendations for pricing, packaging, and provisioning
Â? Developing promotion recommendations


Skills and Experience:

Â? IP-PBX and VoIP product background including market knowledge of IP-PBX, Telephony (mainly VoIP but also TDM), SIP/RTP and Asterisk/OpenSER
Â? Experience in product marketing and management, including excellent MRD writing skills, marketing materials creation, market research skills, competitive analysis capabilities, etc.
Â? Open source experience, including the ability to work on commercial product based on open source technology, working with the community, additional development to the open source technology, etc.
Â? Understanding Standards and how to build product that adhere to open standards
Â? Development experience/background a plus
