Service Contracts Administration

Responsibilities: Enters support contracts to Oracle contracts module in format appropriate to revenue recognition requirements.  Monitors billings for contracts and reconciles accuracy of revenue recognition of contracts with Finance.  Maintains log of active and expired contracts for use by rest of SGS organization in determining entitlements for customers.  Tracks renewals. Issues service order acknowledgment letters for new / renewal contracts including appropriate customer-use instructional information. Issues renewal contract quotations for all items except spares support contracts.  May support management with data necessary to issue spares support contract quotations. Issues standard SGS quotations for new installation and other service products, except spares support. Will act, following training, as Oracle key user for Contracts Module and may be involved in IT-related projects to direct improvements in that module. Tracks weekly SGS bookings and revenue by product type, region and division and makes report available to SGS management for STL forecasting and verification of Finance bookings/revenue numbers. May act as back up to Logistics to dispatch spare parts upon customer request under spares support contract agreement; order initial spares support contract stock from various factories at inception of new contracts; maintains records of stock by customer contract; measures SLA time to dispatch part from receipt of request. May issue purchase requisitions for various SGS needs as directed by SGS managers.
