By combining top quality services, the best interpreters in the marketplace and state of art technology, the company continues to maintain the mission to breakdown communication barriers for Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  "We highly value top quality operational excellence, solid customer relationships and product leadership."  We are currently recruiting for a Shipping and Inventory Specialist for our office in Hackensack, NJ. SUMMARY:This position is an entry level position that is responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments, including materials delivery and product shipments to customers.  Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job, but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.  Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.  Compaires identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against orders placed . Supervise Inventory and Shipping staff members. (non-staff at this time) Monitor inventory levels at the Hackensack location Process facility location transfer requests to maintain necessary levels of inventory at each site as needed. ( we don’t have another site at this time) Calculate and keep one month on hand (MOH) at Hackensack location Make purchasing recommendations to management as levels of inventory approach “re-order” levels Ensure the security of all inventories at the Hackensack location Ensure that required daily levels of each product are packaged (i.e. loaded with Go.Web, change to i711 kitted and/or OS upgraded) and maintained at the Hackensack location. Inventory includes new/used devices, accessories, shipping supplies, and packaging supplies. Assist with purchasing inventory Prepare GoAmerica Purchase Orders (POs) Submit Pos to Finance (who submits to vendor) Work with vendors to arrange shipping dates, locations, and methods. Receive and track all incoming and outgoing inventory. Log all incoming inventory (i.e. from vendors, RMAs, etc.) into GoAmerica’s inventory counts. Log all new/used outgoing orders from GoAmerica’s inventory counts. Generate daily summary sheet, master summary reports and valuation spreadsheet used to calculate perpetual count and report this figure to Finance. Manage the shipping of inventory and orders. Pack and ship products to customers and vendors. Process daily shipping reports and maintains hard copies of orders shipped. Monitor and respond to email inquiries. Enter tracking information into Shipping log on a daily basis Process inventory requests from internal staff for the fulfillment of orders Assign device IDs for orders requested by Order Operations, Enterprise Support, PRC, VIP and other internal staff Process all hardware-only orders from internal staff of the Hackensack location (as appropriate) and generate shipping and serial report to Finance for customer billing Create and update order form templates for all device types used by internal staff for inventory requests. Process Return Merchandise Agreements (RMAs) Process daily receipt of RMAs, including security, tracking and reporting of all RMAs. Generate daily RMA report and forwarding to Finance for crediting to customer. Incoming Tech Support RMAs- Log into GoAmerica inventory, separate into functional and non-functional units, store functional units in proper area of GoAmerica storage, and process non-functional units as vendor of RMAs. Vendor RMAs- Process all returns to vendors, including preparing detailed documentation identifying the reason for the dis-functionality, logging items out of GoAmerica inventory, reporting vendor RMAs to Finance, contacting vendor for return authorization and packing and shipping items to vendor.  Once vendor completes RMA refurbishment, vendor RMAs are received by Inventory department, logged into RMA log for Finance, and returned into GoAmerica inventory at the appropriate location. Inventory SKU Management Request Creation of Inventory Catalog items/ Sku  and maintain as required . Record inventory serials and maintain Inventory current  inventory system and Platypus Reconcile inventory count Conduct monthly physical count of inventory.  Calculate all totals and enter into valuation spreadsheet for Hackensack location Calculate monthly sales numbers, on hand, and MOH totals and report to appropriate departments.  Miscellaneous responsibilities Maintain accessory pricing list for GoAmerica staff to utilize. Organize and maintain QC shelves and assist QC in pulling devices for order fulfillment. Look up serial number and date-logged information as requested. Provide product knowledge and availability of product information as requested.
