Site Acquisition/Zoning Specialist

Buell Consulting, Inc. is a well established company of experts that has provided site acquisition and zoning services to the telecommunication providers in the upper Midwest for the past 17 years.  Our clients include Verizon Wireless, AT&T Mobility and US Cellular.  The company headquarters is located in St. Paul, MN.  We are a medium-sized company with 11 corporate employees and a network of 16 associates.

 

We have an immediate  need for a part-time experienced Site Acquisition/Zoning Specialist Contractor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  2 years experience in site acquisition for wireless sites or similar field. Must have intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Word/Excel software. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability in public speaking and presentations in a large public forum. Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and understand zoning codes and regulations. A proven ability in problem solving and task completion. Excellent negotiation skills. Proven skill in organizing multiple task projects is essential. Minnesota Real Estate License or ability and commitment to obtain a license after start of employment. Excellent map reading skills.

 

CANDIDATE SELECTION

The perfect candidate will be a person who:enjoys working independently with little supervision can juggle multiple projects in various stages of development willingness for occasional travel enjoys working outdoors occasionally

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct site search and candidate identification for possible tower sites. Prepare all documentation to submit to client for candidate selection. Draft and Negotiate standard lease agreements with landowners for tower sites.  Coordinate all due diligence for the completion of site acquisition process such as title review, survey, and site plan approval. Prepare zoning applications, participate in zoning meetings and make oral and written presentations.
