Software Engineer (2 positions)

 

Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain communication protocol and call control software for next generation IP voice/video telephony systems.

 

Participate in full software development life cycle, from software specifications to design, coding, unit and integration testing. Work closely with a cross-functional team in a fast paced environment.

 

Opportunities to travel to various cities worldwide to attend conferences.

 

Job positions are based in City of Industry (Los Angeles) office.

 

 

Required Skills BS/BA or higher in Computer Science requiredIn-depth understanding of TCP/IP (including TCP/UDP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, PPPoE… etc.)Extensive experience programming in C/C++ and/or JavaWell understanding or experience with XML/HTMLExperience with Linux preferredExperience and familiarity with VoIP signaling protocols including SIP or H.323 a plusExperience in embedded software development using C, RISC or DSP processors, real-time OS/kernel, or embedded Linux big plus Enthusiastic, self-motivated yet works well as part of a team.
