This individual will be able to perform in all areas of the software development lifecycle, including requirements derivation, software architecture, design, implementation in C/C++, unit test, and hardware/software integration. Join our team in Marlborough, Massachusetts and help to continue ViaSat’s growth and leadership in the communications field. Experience/Skills Required Requires a BSCS or BSEE and 3+ years of embedded systems software development, preferably in the communications area. C++, Object Oriented Design and development of multi-threaded applications is essential. Understanding of network protocols and information assurance is preferred. Experience in the following areas is a plus: Linux device drivers, security applications, CMMI, GreenHills toolset, DOORS, ClearCase, Rational Rose. Leadership experience is a bonus. US citizenship required.
