Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested, and available Software Engineer II for an opportunity located in Ashburn, Virginia.

 

Position Summary:

- This position is responsible for the designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications supported by the Comsearch business unit.

- This position requires proficiency in a variety of programming languages / applications such as Java, C, C++, SQL store procedures, etc. as well as experience with Multi-Tier J2EE

Architecture (which consists of  Apache, WebLogic, Tomcat, MapXtreme and Sybase.)

- This position works closely with the development team and assists in code reviews, requirement analysis, and research of new software tools. 

- Qualified candidates must be very detail-oriented and well-acquainted with configuration management systems.

 

Essential Job Functions:

- Designs, modifies and implements software programming applications.

- Adheres to all development standards while implementing features.

- Identifies and debugs complex software problems.

- Supports all software applications in development, quality assurance, and production.

- Performs thorough unit testing for all software products modified and/or created.

 

Education/Training:

- BS in Computer Science or relevant experience.

 

Required Experience:

- 2-6 years of experience in software development field.

- Must have experience working with a variety of field’s concepts, practices and procedures.

- Must be proficient in Weblogic, Java, C/C++ and Multi-Tier J2EE Architecture

- Ability to manage multiple priorities, develop quality work under tight deadlines, communicate effectively, and contribute to a team.
