Software Quality Assurance and Release Engineer

Callfinity is looking for a smart, motivated, and organized engineer to fill this QA/Release Engineer position immediately in our Pittsford, NY office. You must have solid programming knowledge and excellent problem solving skills, and must be capable of working under your own initiative in a team environment.

 

Must have skills:The ability to learn new technologies quickly (from others, books, and the Internet)SQL query knowledgeScripting language experience (bash, perl, ASP, PHP, etc)Familiarity with server software testing proceduresExceptional organizational, time management skills, and communication skills

 

Callfinity develops and sells telephony products and services including conferencing and call center systems to service providers and large enterprises throughout the world. We're a small, fun, dynamic company based in Pittsford, NY.  Our software is run server-side out of our data center (and provided as a hosted service/SaaS for our customers), and is often licensed and run on-site from our customers’ locations. The systems you help test and release will be part of the VoIP and TDM telephony infrastructure that powers some of the world’s largest companies.  As a part of our team, you’ll be responsible for becoming a product expert, writing your own testing plans, implementing a release process, writing new code, writing documentation, and managing the release process.  You’ll touch just about everything we do, and in many ways the position will evolve to fit your skills, interests, and ideas.
