We have an excellent opportunity for a test engineer to join a successful team building text-input and search products in the mobile space. This role will involve testing Nuance's leading edge mobile text-input and search solutions.

The position involves working with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for mobile text-input and search products. An area of particular need is in products targeted to the Korean and Japanese markets. Native Korean or Japanese language skill, although not required, is a big plus. The candidate will use device testing and PC-based testing tools to identify functional problems and suggest resolutions. Duties involve test-case design and documentation, regression test design, test execution, and test result and progress reporting. The candidate will work closely with the development team through the entire project lifecycle. The position relies on experience, judgment and creativity to accomplish goals. • Knowledge of test methodologies and standard black-box testing strategies.
• 2-4 years experience testing robust production application software. Experience in Embedded applications is a plus.
• Native Korean or Japanese language skill, though not required, is a big plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
