Job Description Sr Analyst-Budgets & Reporting p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Responsibilities This position is responsible for providing analytical support for more complex budget projects dealing directly with organization/area/department managers. The incumbent is also responsible for reviewing forecasts and operating budgets periodically in order to analyze trends affecting budget needs and make recommendations for budget allocations to ensure conformance to budgetary limits. The position also facilitates the analysis of variances, preparation of a variety of statistical reports and the development of presentations.Participates in the forecasting and budget process for a variety of organization/area/department expenses.Establishes and maintains an effective system for analyzing operating performance of various work units and provides executive level summary on capital expenditures. Contributes to the preparation of presentations for senior management.Prepares monthly financial and operating statistics and analysis including, but not limited to: cost center reports, End User Services variance analysis, and pieces of Area close packages p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Qualifications BS/BA in Business, Finance, or Accounting required or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. MBA preferred. Certifications: CPA, CMA, or equivalent experience preferred4+ years of financial analysis and/or budget experience required.Understanding of the cellular industry and associated business drivers preferred.Financial modeling skills required.Working knowledge of PeopleSoft General Ledger preferred.Strong leadership skills.Advanced communication skills.Solid proficiency in PC based application such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
