Sr Analyst-Finance

Position: Senior Analyst - Financial Planning Responsible for the following:Understand and leverage various sources of company data including, but notlimited to, JD Edwards, Hyperion, NIW (information warehouse), Magnys, etc.Manipulate and maintain data to construct and support various analyses relatedto forecasting, solving business problems, and for the development of Executiveand Board level presentations Collaborate with and/or lead cross-functionalprojects to flush out business opportunities and problems Ensure understandingof forecast guidance provided by various business owners and identify potentialimpact on other financial line items or processes Provide monthly financialanalyses and key metric comparisons; develop interpretation and understanding ofanalysis and communicate findings; develop forecast assumptions models based onanalyses Collaborate with other business groups to gain knowledge of upcomingproduct launches, promotions, pricing and process changes, accounting changes,etc. that may impact forecasting process Work closely with Internal Reporting toevolve how senior management across the company measures performance and makesdecisions. Specific responsibility will be to ensure reporting is relevant andaccurate Minimum Requirements: College degree and 3-5 years professional level experiencewith 1+ year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or 7+ yearsprofessional level related experience with 1+ year supervisory experience forsupervisory roles; or an equivalent combination of education and professionallevel related experience required.
