Senior Director, Marketing Operations

Location:  Sunnyvale, California

 

 

As the Senior Director, Marketing Operations reporting to the CMO, you will lead the worldwide marketing operations strategy for Juniper Networks. You will work closely with the executive management team to meet company objectives.  

 

Primary Responsibilities:Develop the marketing planning and budgeting process (in collaboration with other CMO team members).  Track and report on quarterly progress against stated plan objective.Makes final decisions to ensure effective achievement of objectives and launch schedules.Define and drive the delivery of data and systems requirements to support the CMO team.Collaborate and gain alignment with other planning and analysis leads across the company to ensure consistency in the annual planning process.Represent the Marketing team with other organizations across the company.  Work together to develop consistency in our operational programs across Juniper.Develop a quarterly and annual marketing planning process that is consistent with the process used by the company.  Develop processes for updating plans as internal/external conditions change.  Operationalize the plan and develop a core set of track able metrics.  Make well-informed recommendations to the CMO regarding capitalizing on new opportunities, making course corrections and/or closing the gap between current performance and stated marketing objectives.

 

Candidate Should Possess:BA/BS in Marketing or Business required / MBA plus.   Fortune 500 corporate experience is preferred.15+ years overall marketing experience with at least 3+ years experience in a marketing operations & planning role and a good understanding of the industry.Through understanding of program management and marketing disciplines.Strong marketing background with responsibilities for multiple, broad based marketing initiativesExceptional leadership, strategy development and project management skills.Proven ability to lead teams across decentralized organizations and success thriving in a matrix organization.Executive level strategy, communication, and presentation skills. Strong competency in communicating marketing objectives and providing business leadership across a broad range of supporting functions from analytics to product management Outstanding track record of team leadership, team development and interpersonal communications skills in a small team oriented environment Results-oriented and strong decision maker with ability to prioritize complex organizational objectives and meet aggressive deadlines
