Job Summary:
This role, reporting to the Sr. HR Director for the Americas, will manage, lead and develop a team of regional HR professionals located at our Sunnyvale, CA headquarters location. A solid generalist with strong employee relations, management coaching and organizational development (facilitation) skills will thrive in this role. This position is responsible for deploying HR programs and delivering HR services across the site. In addition to the critical role of managing, leading and coaching a team of 4-6 HR professionals, the position will also have client responsibilities. The successful candidate must enjoy and be prepared to “role up their sleeves” as a member of this progressive HR organization. In a highly matrixed organization, success in this role depends on ones ability to partner effectively with regional, Business Group and Corporate HR functional colleagues.
Key Objectives and Major Responsibilities:
• Align, implement and execute HR programs rolled out globally by Corporate or Business HR leads or across the region by the Regional HR Director
• Provide feedback to Business and Corporate HR about changes to local situation to ensure continued best in class HR delivery
• Provide HR escalation point for employees, managers and other HR professionals at the site through balanced, objective advocacy
• Ensure local HR is delivered in cost effective, globally consistent and scaleable manner
• Deliver selected employee and manager training at the site such as New Hire Orientation, Retaining Talent, Manager Essentials etc.

Key SkillsMinimum of ten years’ broad based professional level HR experience within a fast paced, matrix managed organization Must have previous experience managing, leading, coaching and developing less experienced HR professionals Strong employee relations skills Ability to facilitate training programs and other organizational effectiveness interventions Ability to deal with ambiguity Ability to build or refine processes to create scalable and repeatable approaches to solve problems High technology experience preferred but not required Experience peering with business leadership to build trust, confidence and credibility as an HR leader. Logical thinker that can be the tactical implementer of new programs. Ability to multitask Strong track record in communicating and partnering with different groups to sell-in ideas Demonstrated ability to be sound, reasonable, and fair, delivering what is in the company's best interest while ensuring multi-cultural sensitivity and behavior. Ability to understand priorities and intensity to deliver results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with PeopleSoft and Crystal reporting is desirable. Experience working in US multi-nationals Bachelors degree required, candidates with a Masters Degree in HR Management or Organizational Development preferred. PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Limited travel
