Sr Manager, Finance (Production Support & Centralized Reporting)

The Sr, Manager, Finance Production Support & Reporting provides leadership to two distinct departments and associated staff: Finance Production Support and Centralized Reporting. Responsible for the planning, analysis, programming and implementation of system solutions in support of Finance initiatives. Responsible for centralized operational reporting for North American functional departments. Provides leadership, mentoring and training to multiple business analysts.

Successful candidates will:

-Lead centralized project management on all finance system development and enhancements through formal project plans, test plans, senior management status reporting and formal presentations/status meetings.

-Provide Accounts Receivable, Cost Management and Revenue Management with superior system support through proactive identification of automation projects, training, support, guidance, consistent/positive communication and project planning.

-Primary liaison between Finance and IT on all system development and enhancements. Includes aiding IT/Finance in the selection of software/vendors, system design, system implementation, user acceptance testing, and system interface requirements.

-Lead a staff of reporting analysts in requirements gathering/testing, development and production rollout of all operational reporting for the North American division.

-Provide leadership, skill enhancement and mentoring to managerial level, business analysts and reporting analysts. Assigns tasks, manages workflow, provides guidance and suggestions, reviews and evaluates analysts work, and performs all personnel actions as required (hiring, terminations, promotions, etc.).

-Assists and guides users in the development and updating of process documentation in support of system development/enhancements.

-Identify soft system enhancement solutions utilizing secondary system resources such as complex MS Excel spreadsheets, and/or MS Access solutions.


Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field

-At least 8-10 years of project management and leadership experience with proven system implementation, integration and development experience

-Datamart experience preferred

-Proven SQL and MS Access subject matter expert

-Prefer Business Objects and SharePoint experience

-Telecommunications experience preferred

-Proficient with Excel/advanced spreadsheet development and MS Access
