As the Pre-Sales Engineer, you will have the opportunity to help architect and design some of the most complex solutions using the latest technology in routing and switching, security and unified communications.  Also at Calence the balance between work life and home life is engrained in our culture. Our Pre-Sales Engineers are critical roles that are at the heart of almost everything we do.

 

Responsibilities:

This position will support pre-sales initiatives for Cisco consulting services and products as well as management services opportunities by working with the sales team to architect, design, propose, and close both existing and new opportunities. Additionally, you will provide support and leadership in network design and architecture as well as provide product updates and advice to Calence clients. You will also present recommendations to clients regarding Cisco product configuration and you will be responsible for the development of the project scope and the development of the proposals. Regional travel may be required.

 

Qualifications:

Current CCIE is preferred
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role working with clients and sales support with Cisco network products
Core network routing and switching experience - Cisco specific
Specific knowledge and experience with Cisco voice, security and infrastructure products is desired
