Sr. Program Manager (08-053)
Responsible for meeting Intrado's contractual obligations with customers and managing customer expectations. Manages a wide variety of fee-based tasks and resources necessary to achieve mutually defined results. Builds the structure of projects and coordinates the activities of all project participants into a cohesive, productive team. This includes the following: acts as a source of knowledge for all aspects of E9-1-1, motivates, directs, and influences subordinates and others within the business unit and the business as a whole, to deliver high quality products and services, develops, maintains, and communicates project plans and schedules to the customer and internal project team, establishes project standards and provides overall guidelines for each task, provides appropriate training and orientation to project team members, directs and coordinates internal and external functional groups to achieve established project milestones, reviews work completed for consistency and accuracy, identifies and ensures completion of established project goals and milestones, prepares project status reports for internal and external team members, conducts meetings with the project team on a regular basis and resolves project conflicts, leads and organizes the project team and provides project management advice, guidance, and counsel within the customer sub-team as needed, supports sales efforts aimed at new or expanded customer project engagements, including Professional Services, maintains and controls the scope of work, and manages changes, forecasts revenue and communicates necessary billing information for services rendered to the customer team manager, establishes familiarity with all departmental procedures, and recognizes and escalates deviations to the appropriate staff, and participates actively in discussions to improve departmental procedures. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, computer Science, CIS or related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements. Minimum 5 years experience in a project/program management role required (prefer 7 years). Minimum 1 year telecommunications or related industry experience and Project Management Certificate preferred. (Posted 3/12/08)
