Systems Architect 5 (ERP Solutions) Position Purpose T-Mobile operates a large-scale ERP infrastructure that supports our business activities, including finance and accounting, human resources, supply chain and retail. The ERP Solutions Architecture, will manage a small team of senior solutions architects with deep subject matter expertise and experience with the business environment and processes supported by ERP, as well as the platforms and applications that comprise the ERP systems. The Sr. Manager, ERP Solution Architecture, will have responsibility for ensuring alignment of IT plans with business direction and strategy; providing vision, direction and alignment for the IT systems that support the T-Mobile business teams; and developing and maintaining the IT roadmap for ERP. This will specifically include: * Imbedding with the business teams as needed to ensure a thorough understanding of their strategy and tactics and to provide insight, advice and an IT perspective. * Collaborating with business teams and IT Business Analysis team to ensure ongoing alignment of the IT roadmap with business roadmap and strategy. * Communicating the business vision and strategy to the IT team. * Serving as a subject matter expert for IT teams and business teams in the areas of business processes, systems and best practices. Position Duties and Responsibilities * Establish and maintain relationships with counterparts on the T-Mobile business teams. * Collaborate with business teams and IT Business Analyst team to develop business and IT roadmaps, plans and strategies. * Thoroughly understand T-Mobile business processes and ensure alignment of IT efforts and systems with these processes. * Work with IT management to understand project priorities and how they align with business priorities. * Constantly advocate for and improve upon the IT business processes and corresponding IT ERP solutions implemented for the business. * Create and maintain documentation of T-Mobile business processes and supporting IT ERP systems and flows (both as-is and to-be) * Collaborate with other (i.e., non- human resources) IT and business teams to ensure alignment of back-office business processes and supporting infrastructure with other business processes and infrastructure. Position Requirements Functional/Technical Skills: skills, knowledge and experience are required in each of the following areas: * Strong understanding of business processes supported by ERP systems and best practices for successfully and impactfully applying ERP systems in the retail and/or mobile telecom industry * Strong understanding of best-in-class ERP technologies, products and suppliers supporting key business processes * Strong understanding of and experience with the SAP ERP product suite and, specifically, modules related to finance, human capital management, supply chain, retail and product management * Development and execution of IT roadmaps, plans and strategy in close collaboration with business teams * Ability to clearly document and communicate business processes and IT processes to both business and IT stakeholders at appropriate levels of abstraction. Experience * Experience managing supplier relationships * Experience with SAP ERP in the retail/mobile industries * Min. 5 years working with ERP systems solutions architecture and business customers of these systems * Min. 7 years in IT * Experience working directly with business leadership to develop IT strategy T-Mobile is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
