Job Requirements/Education: BA preferable Certification/Licenses MCSE 2003 Preferred KnowledgeStrong knowledge of Microsoft Operating SystemsProficient in project management Strong knowledge of current IT infrastructure and Sharepoint, Messaging and Directory Services.Good knowledge of Exchange, SMS and Active Directory Good understanding of network security and management frameworksLocal & Wide Area Sharepoint Support an Provides 3rd level escalation for Sharepoint Services outages and troubleshooting. Performs hardware and software maintenanceConfigures and installs Sharepoint related servers. Interfaces with users and developers to troubleshoot Sharepoint Services problems. Produces and interprets Sharepoint performance trends. Performs Sharepoint sites capacity planning and alerting.SharePoint Design and Consults with customers to identify Sharepoint requirements. Prepares and updates Sharepoint Services documentation. Designs and configures Sharepoint Services implementation. Assesses new and relevant Sharepoint Services technologies.Design Reviews and Maintains design requirements documentation. Participates as a Subject Matter Expert in design reviews. Makes recommendations for project change as needed to improve functionality, performance, enterprise impacts, and standards compliance. Administration Communicates plans, status and issues to management on a regular basis. Reports activities through time tracking system. Mentors junior Sharepoint Services Administrators. Participates in project and activity tracking processes. Participates in the change control process. Continuously updates and improves skills and networking knowledge through training and self-study.Production Support and Provides 24x7 on call production support. Serves as an escalation point for Sharepoint Services issues within ITDepartmental Responsibilities Works closely with Business Units implement, coordinate their Sharepoint services. Responsible for managing company Sharepoint sites. Works closely with file server & database administrators, applications developers, account and Sharepoint administrators to provide a secure application environment.Other Duties As Required
Required Job Skills:  specialized sharePoint, windows Servers, Exchange, SMSTraining Requirements:  MCSE 2003 Preferred Knowledge. 5yrs direct experience  on share point Infrastructure, Messaging and Directory Services.
