Sr. Warehouse Representative
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, performs the duties relating to daily processing and monitoring of warehouse inventory material and equipment including coordinating the activities of warehouse persons responsible for tracking and accurately maintaining inventory through the CIFA Inventory Systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Responsible for the daily processing and monitoring of warehouse inventory material and equipment related to receiving, verifying accuracy, issuing, tracking, reviewing, reconciling, cleaning, testing, counting and reporting on warehouse inventory material and equipment including daily cycle counts,month end counts and Annual CIFA Physical Count maintaining min/max inventory levels and initiating requisitions to Purchase Coordinators to order materials through vendors, entering data including serial numbers, counts, location, status into the databases and other reports and preparing equipment/material for shipment.
Operates and maintains a clean and organized working environment, tools, vehicles and equipment in compliance with Company safety standards and practices.
Maintains files and records which includes, but is not limited to, material order forms, purchase orders, shipping and receiving documents, inventory tracking reports safety program files,, Forklift and Material handling of all equipment received, test equipment,, hand and power tool inventory.
Trains warehouse employees regarding inventory control, practices, procedures and standards in performing the functions and procedures.
Maintains and enforce accountability and security of company assets.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid California Driver’s License, Forklift Certifications and satisfactory driving record
Applicant must be able to perform essential job functions such as crawling, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, climbing, lifting up to 70 lbs and working with general hand tools.
Warehouse experience including knowledge of all functions and related tasks in each area of the warehouse.
Proficient in Cifa Applications.
Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
Ability to organize and handle multiple projects and meet timelines
Ability to reconcile solve inventory discrepancies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment while maintaining a professional attitude.
Ability to show judgments and initiative to accomplish duties without minimal supervision
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Frequent exposure to excessive noise, extreme temperatures, dust and heights
