That's why we're here. Sr. Web Developer (Online Sales) This role will contribute to T-Mobile's success helping to design, implement, and maintain T-Mobile's online sales web site. Be part of a team that reacts quickly to the needs of a fast paced business. You must be self motivated, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in accomplishing difficult tasks. You must have a solid understanding of development practices for large, high volume, high availability, web applications. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Builds and maintains expertise as SME in T-Mobile web applications. - Interacts business customers and IT teams to deliver high quality web applications on time and budget. - Develops high quality code in alignment with business requirements and specifications. - Lead other developers in designing and building high quality web applications. - Mentors team members on new technologies in area of expertise. - Prepares and maintains high quality documentation including various architecture and design diagrams, data models, and navigation maps. Primary Job Requirements: - Experience with high volume public web sites. - Solid understanding of object oriented design and programming. - 3+ years of proven high volume web development experience with J2EE/WebSphere. - Web development with .NET 2.0 and C# is strongly preferred. - Ability to work with business partners to understand and define project requirements. - Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and Web Services. - Familiar with development on MS SQL Server databases. - Integration with multiple systems. - Knowledge of content management systems. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: - Experience with AJAX, Rational Unified Process (RUP), Advanced SQL Server 2005 features (Replication, etc.), Oracle, Flash, Photoshop, SAP, Tibco, Advanced Visio or UML Documentation, Source Control using Accurev, Usability Practice (Human Interaction Factors), Window Services. - Previous wireless industry experience is a plus. Experience: - Minimum 5 years experience developing large scale business systems applications. Education/Vocational Training: - B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
