Structured Cabling Sales Engineer/Project Manager

 

 

Job Description:

 

Granite Telecommunications, a CLEC based in Quincy, MA, has an opening for a Structured Cabling Sales Engineer/Project Manager.  Responsibilities include:Provide pre sales engineering support via conference calls and on-site meetings on structured cabling and telephony projects in support of sales staff. Engage/ manage installation partner networks to perform site surveys on customer sites nation wide. Design, estimate, price and write proposals for cable plant installations for large commercial and retail customers.Generate scope of work and bill of materials documents.

 

Qualifications:3-5 years of estimating/designing Structured Cabling SystemsMinimum of 2 years national project management2 years experience with the field installation of communications infrastructureExperience preparing RFPs for Structured Cable PricingKnowledge of building codes and wiring standards, including BICSI guidelines and EIA/TIA standardsExcellent verbal and written skillsRCDD certification strongly preferred
