Supervisor Residential Sales
JOB SUMMARY: The Supervisor, Residential Sales will be responsible for the recruitment, training, daily management and performance reporting for the assigned area residential field sales team.
MAJOR DUTIES OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Supervise Residential Sales Representatives in all phases of their jobs including recruitment, training and performance evaluation. Manage sales representatives through performance management quotas and goal setting. Assist Regional Manager in preparation of written performance evaluations as required by progressive performance management policies.
- Responsible for achieving new subscriber and RGU growth sales goals proactive support of department goals, monitoring of individual and team performance metrics, training program development, recruitment, compensation programs and strategic territory planning and distribution.
- Maximize new subscriber acquisition, 3-Product bundle, RGU growth and retention within competitive service footprint and low penetrated areas. Target key "at risk" subscriber households through disciplined segmentation approach and promotional offers that promotes revenue growth and retains subscribers.
- Facilitate daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting of sales results including monthly narrative of goal achievement, key performance data, sales channel churn and retention performance and recommendations for improved productivity.
- Develop agenda and strategy for on-going sales meetings - Collaborate on sales training and regularly scheduled sales meetings
- Assure sales representatives have understanding of offer strategy, Comcast products and pricing models, as well as competitive advantage over competitors by being the Subject Matter Expert for the team.
- Responsible for coordinating and participating in the field training of sales representatives with continuous real-time field observations, coaching, and feedback.
- Monitor all commission, training pay or development cost related to direct sales expenses.
- Responsible for Territory distribution and the commensurate record keeping thereof.
- Responsible for new construction reporting, including identification of homes built and homes occupied.
- Serve as the primary liaison with local system department contacts
- Travel as required
- Other functions may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate or equivalent is required of this position. College degree is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years direct sales field experience. Previous sales management experience a plus.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
- Must be a team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate and react to changes quickly
- Ability to relate well to Sales Representatives, employees and customers
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid drivers license; satisfactory driving record
- Willingness and ability to travel
