ViaSat is on the forefront of innovative high assurance security solutions.  Put your software engineering experience to practical use designing and implementing these next generation communications products and systems.Troubleshoot and fix problems in a large, embedded software code base, including code development/maintenance in a formal software environment, then conducting unit test, integration test (including interactions with electronics), software build and release, documentation updates and peer reviews.  Maintain automated installation process.  Develop automated test software.The position requires teamwork skills, including interacting with Customer Support, Sales, Production Engineers and Engineering team members to resolve problems.Experience/Skills Required Broad experience in troubleshooting and developing software fixes and feature enhancements in embedded software with C/C++ in a formal software environment.Experience with software build and release processes, including understanding of product structure and configuration management.Experience with SW integration and testing, with electronics integration a plus.Experience with automated test software development (e.g. Python) a plus.Education Requirements BA/BSTravel Required Up to 10 percentUS Citizenship Required?
