TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE - Mankato, MN

The focus of a Technical Support Representative in an Alltel call center isfirst and foremost to ensure a high quality experience for each customer byappropriately engaging and connecting with each customer. Continued employment for this position is contingent upon successful completionof the Alltel training process, which includes the New Hire Training Assessment. Essential Job Duties and Expectations: Provide troubleshooting assistance to determine why the service, equipment orfeature is inoperable. Services include: Wireless, Wireless Internet, and othervarious wireless features. Process warranty exchanges. Provide billing assistance. Sell product features and accessories. Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Proficient in operating a personal computer with Windows Operating System. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to focus on each individualcustomer. Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to retain detailed information. Ability to solve complex problems. Good organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, holidays andweekends. Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years experience with 1-2 yearsdirectly related to the job. College hours or a college degree may besubstituted for some experience as deemed appropriate. Desired Qualifications: Technical support, customer service or call center experience.
