This is evident in our total compensation package, which benefits all of our employees.  Some of our generous perks include: Paid time off Exceptionally priced Medical/Vision/Dental coverage Flexible spending opportunities 401(k) matching Tuition reimbursement Paid life insurance Incentive stock option plan And much more We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, family-oriented, and we foster a healthy life-work balance Technical Product Manager Maybe you've never heard of us but if ever need to call 911 from your cell phone, chances are you would be using our technology to allow your location to be determined by the Public Safety authorities.Summary of Functions:The Technical Product Manager, Reports to the Sr. Director of Product Management, and is responsible for the day-to-day product management of Network Application Location products.  This position is also responsible for positioning and selling the applications into the Carrier and/or Enterprise Segment as relevant.  Other responsibilities include Roadmap Creation, Feature selection, Proposal Support, Promotion, Generation of Offer tools, Sales Support (as related to Product), and Customer presentations.  Works very closely with Engineering, Professional Services, and Operations teams, to make sure our market facing offers are implemented consistently and on time.  Travel requirements are approximately 20 - 30%. Major Duties and Responsibilities: · Managing an entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities · Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. · Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development, Service Operations and Marketing Communications) through technical and service requirements product contract, and positioning. · Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute. · Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product. Day to day tasks include, but are not limited to: · Definition of new feature requests (technical and service)· Negotiating and prioritizing product roadmap with development, operations and other product managers· Business case analysis of new features, products and customer implementations· Customer presentations in support of sales· Sales training and training material development· Marketing collateral development· Monitoring of release milestones· Creation of white papers· Liaison between Sales and Development as needed· Market competitive analysis · Developing internal product and proposal pricing· Create demos and presentations as needed. Knowledge and Skills:· Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Knowledge of evolving wireless & Internet business models· Strong technical background to communicate and negotiate with engineering· Proven successful track record in bringing products and/or services to market, preferably within the telecommunications or technical industry· Ability to conduct independent financial analysis· Experience in identifying customer segments through quantitative and qualitative research, and skills in strategy and business development.· Representing the product to influential press reviewers or speaking to a room full of interested internal or external customers should excite you. · Experience in brand management, product planning, business development, and public relations are all definite pluses. · Ability to make strong contributions as an individual and team player is critical · Strong time management, self-motivation, and the ability to lead others. Experience & Other Requirements:· BS preferable MS in EE or CS· MBA preferred· 8+ years business experience· 5+  years product management experience· 2-3 years product development experience helpful· Broad understanding of location technologies, Wireless E911, handset-based location applications· MS Office · Outstanding interpersonal skills· Attention to detail· Ability to thrive in a geographically dispersed team environment· Passion about technology and have a strong vision for the possibilities and impact that wireless location based services will have on daily life.
