Technical Support Representative

Description
iPCS Wireless, Inc. is an exclusive manager of Sprint PCS Products in mid-sized cities in eight states, from Nebraska to New York.
The Technical Support Representative is responsible for inventory management and control which includes:
• Receive, scan and enter inventory into the store inventory system and inventory space.
• Moves, maintains and tracks inventory between warehouse, other stores, B2B office and selling floor retail.
• Ships equipment to manufactures or repair facilities.
• Recurs repaired equipment and notifies customers or handles as designated for customer return.
• Maintains work order files and prepares report as required.

The Technical Service Representative is also responsible for troubleshooting wireless equipment repair and warranty processes which includes:
• Critical interface in providing product knowledge, phone programming and equipment troubleshooting for the sales force.
• Maintain database of most current software loads for each handset and manages all software upgrades.

Requirements
The position requires a strong communication skills, aptitude to learn communication products and services, ability to work independently without close supervision, flexibility with work schedule, good decision-making skills, ability to provide high levels of customer service, ability to interact positively with customers to offer sales solutions for communication needs, willingness to work weekends, computer literacy. A background in electronics servicing and testing experience is an added plus.  This position is not an IT position.
