Our offices are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where culture and indoor and outdoor activities complement the diverse population of a growing area. We’re looking for top-notch employees to put their creative efforts to work in a fast-paced environment at the forefront of networking technology and infrastructure. Leviton Network Solutions Division has an exciting opening for a TECHNICAL TRAINING MANAGER Summary of position:  The Training Manager develops technical materials and provides technical training to Leviton Network Solutions nationwide network of contractors, integrators, consultants and field sales personnel. Provides input into the development of product and technology specific training modules. Develops content for Leviton’s online training program. The job requires a high percentage of travel. This position is responsible for: · Develop and provide technical presentations on products and technologies· Provide hands-on demonstrations of proper termination and installation techniques of copper and fiber connectivity products· Develop advanced certification training modules and present to Premier Level contractors · Communicate and address training needs with Regional and District Managers· Recommend and develop training materials as needed to meet customer requirements· Support Certification needs of contractors participating in the Strategic Partner Program· Coordinate all training activities with Contractor Program Manager· Support sales and marketing efforts concerning application and installation of products· Conducts nationwide training and certification courses in support of the Contractor Programs Skills and Abilities: Skilled presenter with an aptitude for public speaking High level of experience and understanding of relevant EIA/TIA Structured Cabling Standards and their practical application Conduct oneself professionally in the work environment, including tradeshows, conferences, meetings, customer and social events, and with staff and division personnel Communicate technical details to a broad audience clearly and effectively Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university A minimum of 8 years experience in the structured cabling industry Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a technical training capacity BICSI RCDD strongly preferred Contractor experience preferred Must be very knowledgeable about all relevant industry TIA standards If you are interested in applying for this position, please respond via email to hr@leviton.com  ***Leviton Network Solutions offers an excellent benefits package** Leviton is an AA/EEO employer.
