Telco Support Specialist
Join an established technology team supporting an innovative and growing leader in a unique market. This member of staff will be our Telco Subject Matter Expert. This person will monitor our production environment's telco vendors, receive alerts, escalate and ultimately resolve system incidents as well as client support issues. We are looking for a reliable candidate with good technical, people and communication skills, adept in communicating technical issues and concepts clearly - borth verbally an in writing.
Responsibilities
Monitor our Telco service providers’ SLA and their impact on our Windows production environment. Perform first and second level troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure that our critical production systems are available 24x7x365. We are looking for a dependable candidate with exceptional ability to use sound judgment when resolving a variety of problems. The primary responsibilities will focus on QA, monitoring, troubleshooting, and evaluating our production telephony applications, web and database servers to ensure risks are mitigated and issues are communicated. Experience with VXML, CCXML, .NET technology, C# web programming, backend SQL Server databases, and understanding XML/Web services is desirable. Understanding of VOIP, POTS, multi-site multi-switch internetworking, CTI, Voice Portal (to include JDBC administration and Web Services), troubleshooting soft phone, IVR, and routing issues is required. Candidate must have at least 3 years hands-on experience with telephony development, troubleshooting and QA.
