Evotem offers unique telecom management services to large Fortune 100 and small businesses alike. We are a profitable entrepreneurial company on a fast growth track and are looking for a career oriented, highly motivated, accountable Project Manager to work in our Indianapolis office.

 

This position involves account management, business needs analysis, standards deployment, project management and business process improvement consulting. It includes development and thorough understanding of customer requirements and ability to deliver in scope services in accord with customer expectations. The Project Manager acts as consultant by crafting business solutions combining process, organization, people, and technology, which supports the strategic direction of the company and functional area initiatives.  The focus is on project management and cultivating long-term relationships with clients. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Creates and maintains documents to support project initiatives including business cases, requirements and detailed project plans.

· Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously.

· Develop and maintain working relationships with a diverse group of business stakeholders in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the client’s business processes to support the prioritization and delivery of services.

· Communicates technical ideas in non-technical language to business stakeholders.

· Coaches and mentors peers and less experienced Professional Services staff through leadership and active participation on shared projects.

· Effectively manage cross-functional teams. Serve as coordinator for all project team activities. Provide team with project goals, scope, task assignments and timelines.

· Oversee all aspects of project management initiatives from proposal, inception and cost estimation stages through delivery.

· Coordinate all project related activities following standard project and software development methodologies, applying project management best practices in order to complete telecom projects, driving improvements in work flow and operational areas.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree 5+ years experience in IT/Telecommunications with experience in the following areas: business analysis, project management, technical solution design and implementation, account management, telecom strategy development. Prior experience in business analysis and business process improvement. Focus on delivering business solutions that provide value Experience collaborating with others in IT management and support roles to deliver shared resultsPMP Certification highly desirable

 

COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to write business assessments, statements of work, reports, business correspondence, and process recommendations. Ability to read, analyze and interpret business cases, general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior managers, end users, and vendors

Ability to deliver positive customer communication and relationship management. Consultative approach to building consensus. Operational and technical experience and understanding. Ability to identify and articulate solutions that provide desired business results. Ability to work with limited direction and ability to understand and complete delegated tasks while taking ownership to delivery quality resultsMust have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and/or orally, both in one-on-one and group presentation situations. Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and project management in both the business and the technical areas
