Telecom Project Manager

New Jersey based Alliance Telecommunications is searching for a Project Manager to handle one of its clients across the United States.  The position requires weekly travel from city to city with the individual being based out of the Alliance headquarters. 

 

Prospective employees should have at least five years experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically in structured wiring and handling cutovers.  Applicants who do not have experience in that area will not be considered. This position requires two to three years experience as a Project Manager. 

 

Responsibilities for this position include –

 Reviewing blueprints and creating proposals for work Working with client on a daily basis to meet all telecom needs Reporting to managers daily/weekly basis current and upcoming projects Traveling to site of project and check on work performed by subcontractors Communicating and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget Providing assistance to the subcontractors if there are any issues Conduct testing of cable installation if necessary while on project site

 

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.  Certifications from telecom industry manufacturers’ and experience with testers will be considered a plus.
