Telecom Usage Auditor - Network Cost Management

For a like-minded professional, we have an excellent career opportunity for a Telecom Usage Auditor who really wants to make an impact.
At a macro level the Telecom Usage Auditor will be responsible for 3 areas: Auditing, Dispute Management and Vendor/Client Management. At the micro level, responsibilities will include:
Auditing
· Analyzing client invoice and call detail record (CDR) information to identify exceptions by:
o Applying specific audit knowledge, techniques, and telecom industry expertise
o Utilizing industry and Client reference information including: tariffs, contracts, Interconnection Agreements, LERG, and NECA
o Utilizing specific software tools such as BillTrak Pro, COFinder, Location Finder, and LATTIS PRO as well as general tools such as MS Access, MS Excel, and Business Objects
· Identifying network optimization and other run-rate opportunities for the client
· Utilizing new and existing concepts to develop new and repeatable audit procedures
· Providing audit training and mentoring to staff and clients
Dispute Management
· Successfully closing telecom vendor disputes through the use of proper dispute documentation preparation and dispute escalation process
· Assisting other auditors and reconciliation analysts with dispute escalations
· Examining and responding to vendor denials in a timely manner
Vendor/Client Management
· Building and maintaining productive client relationships
· Providing training/documentation on audit concepts as needed
Required Experience and Education:Bachelors Degree3+ years telecom industry experience, including at least 1-2 years hands-on usage auditingSolid querying skills (TOAD, SQL, Access)Prior exposure to contracts and/or tariffsExcellent communication skillsAttention to detail
