Telecommunications Auditor

Position:  Telecommunications Auditor

 

Working as a team member, interface with internal and external customers and wireless service providers to receive, reconcile, and analyze telecommunications invoices for our clients.  Responsible for achieving maximum cost savings by identifying errors, tracking disputes for credits, and optimizing plans and services.  Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers for all billing related issues for one or more client accounts.

 

Qualifications: 

 College degree in business or finance, or 3 - 5 years work experience in financial, accounting, or auditing position – wireless, IT, or telecommunications industry experience is a plusPosition requires demonstrated experience and ability using MS-Office applications to include MS Access and MS ExcelPrefer strong background in billing, accounting and auditing using financial systems software (QuickBooks or equivalent) Prefer understanding of telecommunications billing systems, procedures and terminology Experience with telecommunications billing applications (STARS, IBAS) or reporting tools (Crystal Reports) is a plus

 

Responsibilities:Receive and process invoices from carriers or 3rd party vendors in electronic or paper format Use in-house system for invoice reconciliation, analysis, and rate plan optimizationCoordinate with internal IT team to enhance system for improved efficienciesProvide standard and custom reports for usage statistics and cost reportingManage vendor relationships with major carriers and 3rd party suppliersCoordinate rate plan or service plan changes with carriers and 3rd party vendors as necessaryTrack disputes with vendors to resolutionManage AP/AR relations with wireless providers and allied vendorsParticipate in customer meetings and conference calls as requiredMonitor internal metrics to ensure compliance with billing analysis & delivery SLA’s Provide SLA reports as requested for management
