Responsibilities:·  Understand new features, incorporate those features into a topology emulating customer networks, and execute manual and automated stress tests on this topology.·  Develop test coverage reports for individual software features and hardware components tested within the stress topology, writing and maintaining automated test scripts to provide stress coverage. Qualifications:·  Working knowledge and a strong understanding of IP-based routed networks and IP/Routing Protocols.·  The candidate is required to have a sound understanding of C, C++ and scripting languages (PERL, TCL) and experience with test automation.·  A BS or MS in EE/CS or equivalent experience is required.·  Working knowledge and understanding of Linux OS (including System Services; System Security and Accounting; RAID), Ethernet CFM, 802.3ad and BFD·  Working knowledge and understanding of MPLS protocols and its L2 (including VPLS) and L3 VPN applications.
