Tower Technician (Rigger) USA

POSITION OVERVIEWThis is a Senior level position and while under the direction of management, the Tower Technician (Rigger) is to work for the safe, successful and profitable installations and inspections of projects.  The employee needs to demonstrate strong safety skill sets and field experience and be able to work well with others and independently, all related to the tower business.  The candidate shall be proven in the field with knowing common installation practices, identifying potential safety safety hazards and corrective action.  Shall be able to identify incorrect installations, and provide good direction on fixing or installing towers, antenna's, and various antenna types.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Proper inspection and use of personal safety equipment, including ropes, harnesses, etc.
Install and inspect Guy tower anchors and guy wire frequencies and associated hardware.Install and inspect tower structure and identify any system impacting issues immediately.Install and inspect antennas, coax lines, hangars, grounding cables and connections.Install and orientate antennas to correct azimuths and tiltsAble to use a Volt meter, and operate power tools safely. Cadweld.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESLoad and unload trucks, making sure that slings and cables are in safe working order.Sort material when it arrives on site to ensure that no material is missing.Set up anchors for guy wires and ready them to pull to tensionPerform ground assembly of towers.Assemble different types of antennas (GPS, Cellular, Microwave)Assist and coordinate the the installation of transmission lines.Install wave guide bridgesOperate power tolls 
QUALIFICATIONS:Must be authorized to work in USAValid US  drivers licenceAbility to work at heightsMust be willing to travel throughout the east.Good physical condition including eye sight and hearingSuccessful completion of a CPR and/or first aid course (copies of certificates will be required)Successful completion of OSHA courses and/or Comtrain/IRATA (copies of certificates will be required)
