Trainer, Learning and Development

Facilitates, organizes, develops and conducts core leadership development programs for department personnel as requested for, but not limited to, customer service, sales, administration, and management which support the business imperatives. Create and conduct Learning & Development programs that focus on proven leadership and management training programs as well as sales strategies, team building activities and participate in the facilitated meeting process for all departments as requested.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Establish a working relationship with management to coordinate and implement training programs.
2. Become a certified facilitator of Comcast University leadership development programs.
3. Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
4. Develops a delivery strategy and plan for all programs and activities.
5. Works with and manages the relationship of outside training vendors as directed.
6. Supports interpretation/implementation of individual performance goal strategies, progression programs, and continuous improvement learning and development processes for leadership development.
7. Provides consultative coaching and development guidance.

Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in business, marketing, organizational development, education, human resources or psychology or additional equivalent experience required.
Five to seven years experience in a training department. Must have experience developing course curriculum and conducting classroom training. Additionally, the successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong PC skills, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook. Strong organizational skills and the ability to be flexible in the work environment is a must.



EXPERIENCE:

- Three to five years of Leadership and Dedevalopment training required. Also, customer care and/or sales training experience required.
- Two plus years of supervisory/management experience or equivalence.
- Excellent facilitation skills, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at a time.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Excel, Outlook, Word, and
PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles is preferred.
