Training & Development Prof (Technical)

Provide video, high speed internet, digital voice technical and safety training for CommTech 1 - CommTech 6 technical personnel.
Will also provide video, high speed internet and Comcast digital voice advanced service skills training for CommTech 1 - CommTech 4.
Maintain appropriate records regarding training conducted.
Assess trainee's grasp of material and retention during training program.
Provide input into training curriculum and training program development.
Monitor trainee progress of material and retention through practical evaluations.
Travel to other systems as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required (post secondary Training education desired.) Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum CommTech level 4 or similar technical experience in the cable industry preferred.
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Lift and carry loads of 70 lbs. or more
Able to climb ladders 18 to 20 feet above ground
Ability to perform job from high places (on ladders and/or poles)
Work in crawl spaces or attics
Ability to demonstrate all physical aspects of training programs
Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to speak publicly.
Strong group facilitation skills.
Demonstrates and models appropriate and professional behavior in and out of the classroom.
Work while standing 50 - 70% of the time
Proficiency in personal computers and software applications
Ability to comply with safety procedures and requirements
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of basic mathematics
Must be available to work overtime including weekends, evenings and holidays
Must be able to travel 20%
