UMTS Optimization Team Lead Engineers

We are currently looking for UMTS Optimization Team Lead Engineers with the following background:

 

Prior UMTS optimization/performance experience Required.

 

In-depth understanding of the details surrounding:

· Recommend features and parameters changes based on analyzed data (i.e. RAB capacity, IRAT, Power control etc)

· Good knowledge of the OSS, and how to operate the optimization tools

· Data analysis and parameter audits

· Review switch statistics analysis and performance counter details analysis for trending and identifying holes and hotspots

· Capture statistics of cluster drive tests and evaluations results

· Produce reports to show pre and post performance improvements

· Good knowledge of OSS and how to operate the optimization tools

· Understands the relationship between Soft/Softer Handovers and Network capacity

· Detailed understanding of link budget

· Experience using planning tools such as Aircom Asset3G, PlanetEV, Atoll

Experience requirements:

· Leadership capabilities

· Minimum 5 years of RF Engineering experience.  Minimum 2-3 years of recent experience in radio network design, implementation and tuning/optimization on WCDMA systems.

· Experience in working with different RAB services such as CS, PS, HSDPA

· Understanding of signaling in between different interface specially Uu, lub, lur, lu-C and lu-P

· Must be flexible with travel



Education required (minimum): BSEE 

 

Education desired: MSEE/MBA
