JDSU is seeking a dynamic leader with executive presence who can deliver results, formulate and lead key business strategies for a sales operations environment, and effectively utilize exemplary collaboration and relationship building skills. As a Vice President, you will add your stamp in building a world class sales operation organization and be instrumental in supporting the increasing growth of the CommTest Group (Test and Measurement) within JDSU. Your initial efforts and measure for success will focus on: 1) Increasing effective selling time for sales to best in class level. Having a proven track record for driving process and system exchanges will be invaluable. We have an excellent sales force with excellent leadership. 2) Technology improvement and enablement. Guide the organization into a cadence for pipeline management to enhance predictability. In other words, increase forecasting accuracy for pipeline management such as deals, reviews, etc. Your previous experience in introducing and streamlining communication and reporting will give you an opportunity to take this organization to the next level. 3) Employ a global perspective. This initiative will give the selected candidate an opportunity to sync up and enhance the sales organization operating effectiveness with a Global organization focused on North America, EMEA, Asia Pac and Latin America. 4) Involvement in acquisitions. Having previous experience in integrating acquisitions will be highly valued as CommTest continues to grow the product offerings which translate to revenue growth. This position is slated to grow and enhance a sales operation under the dynamic leadership of a Senior Vice President. You will build a team of key contributors in technology, process improvement, compensation and field enablement. This opportunity is ideal for utilizing your solid understanding of communications technologies, markets and players. The position is located in Germantown, Maryland, close to Washington, D.C. Other attributes important to this role would be:" Technically savvy in sales technology systems as a user and developer of requirements for CRM and Mobile computing. Having implemented CRM solutions highly valued." A strong business experience introducing performance metrics and improvement programs to enhance the productivity and efficiency of an organization.." Capability to build a strategic and tactical measurement system leveraging sales technologies." Strong functional expertise in: segmentation and targeting, sales strategy, resource deployment, sales process, pipeline management and forecasting, coverage models, org design, sales compensation, quota allocation and account planning." Must be strong in business management. Customer experience management, comp systems, and talent management for sales professional will be highly valued." A strong educational foundation is important for senior level positions within JDSU. A Bachelor s degree in Finance or technical degree required. MBA would be highly valued." At least 7 years progressively increasing responsibility in marketing/sales functions for highly complex products in communications/solutions market desired. " Knowledge of Oracle and Seibold. These systems are core within JDSU.
