Vice President of Military Network Sales

Job Responsibilities The V.P. Military Sales will plan, organize and implement sales programs for growing both US DOD business as well as foreign military sales globally. The VP Military Sales will have global responsibility for selling our quality products and services to government (DOD) project consultants, contractors, architects and engineers, and contracting officers. Maintain contacts with established customers and developing new prospects. The successful candidate will be required to maintain an awareness of business conditions, provide long range forecasts, solicit and report on voice of the customer data on both current and new products. Prepare and conduct sales/training meetings to current and prospective customers to increase sales of product. Interact daily with Customer Service, Credit & Collection, Technical Support and Engineering departments. This position requires at minimum 50% travel to customers, partners and for company sponsored events. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience in technical sales and management function Prior Military experience and government contracting Knowledge of and aptitude for technical sales of electrical or electronic products Demonstrated strong oral/written communication skills including sales presentations and negotiations A four-year degree in business, marketing or engineering is required Utilize effective leadership and organizational skills to maximize performance LOCATION:  Sarasota, as 34243STATUS:  Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY:  Sales/Retail/Business DevelopmentWORK EXPERIENCE:  5+ to 7 YearsCAREER LEVEL: Executive (SVP, VP, Department Head, etc)EDUCATION LEVEL:Bachelor's Degree REFERENCE CODE:359
