Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is thoroughly experienced in all areas of warehouse management including inventory control and security, accurate cycle count program development and monitoring, domestic and international shipping and receiving management, logistics and transportation methods and strategies and warehouse procedure and policy development. The right candidate is a proven leader with the ability to successfully lead, direct, motivate and inspire a team of 8-10 employees to achieve company goals. The Warehouse Manager is committed to implementing and enforcing safety standards and policies in compliance OSHA, Cal-OSHA and company policy. The right candidate interfaces successfully with warehouse staff, company staff in all functions and outside vendors to ensure successful processing and fulfillment of orders, managing crisis situations, deadlines and other special situations. Exercises sound judgment and manages time and resources effectively.
The Warehouse Manager is effective in workforce planning for frequent shifting and adapting to new priorities.

Requires minimum 5 to 7 years of directly related management experience in a high volume warehouse. Experience with ERP systems, MS Office and Outlook required. Excellent communication skills, team building and supervisory skills in a warehouse environment required. Professional team-oriented approach with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking. Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to successfully handle stressful situations are essential qualities for the right candidate.
