Web Analyst

Newly created, "hands on" position to support Web Analytics Manager in compiling and delivering daily, weekly, monthly Executive reports. Includes development of trending charts and other visual representation of data. Must have strong MS Exel skills, a passion for numbers and great attention to detail!

 

Position entails:Supporting translation of business needs to data analysis and report building. Compiling results from multiple sources into report templates. Troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues.Supporting creation of dashboards and reports in Omniture system.Tracking / comparing traffic drivers & usage trends. Supporting competitive analysis / research.Other activities as determined by department head.

 

Job Requirements:BA/BS in Marketing or Statistics At least 2 years experience with online marketing and key measures of success Lives locally (Job is in Fairfield, NJ). No relocationEffective oral and written communication skillsSelf motivatorExperience in internet marketing (SEM/SEO) and BTB background a plusMust work well independently and with team membersExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong detail orientation, as well as analytical and time management skills

 

Specific Skills: Exposure/knowledge of web analytics package a plus!  (i.e. Omniture, Google Analytics or WebTrends...) Advanced proficiency in Excel to synthesize and analyze large sets of marketing data to yield actionable findings (i.e. creating formulas, pivot tables) Creative problem-solving skills.
